Visual basic macros do not work in office 2008 for mac
Microsoft is not extending the Mainstream Support phase for Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 in any way. Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 has transitioned to Extended Support which runs through March 31, 2008. For your information not just to Excel come with this problem, All the Office 365 have macros and Visual Basic can't run when run as normally, also that happen to Visio 2019, Project 2019 - still can't open. when i run as administrator the vba and macros for all office are working. The patch bug is in Windows 10, 8.1 and 7 plus Windows Server editions (list. the visual basic and macros for excel to was dimmed can't click. After the 2019-08 Cumulative Update KB4511553 is applied, some VBA code will stop working. The culprit isn’t Office, but the version of Windows that it’s running on. However, we are releasing this non-security related package because it contains improvements that were ready for release just prior to the end of Mainstream Support. A recent Windows update is causing VBA code to fail in Excel, Access and other VBA parts of Office. Mainstream Support for Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 ended on March 31, 2005.
